Day habilitation is a covered Community Support benefit within the CalAIM initiative under Medi-Cal. CalAIM (California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal) is a long-term effort to improve the quality of life and health outcomes for Medi-Cal members by extending services beyond traditional healthcare settings. Day habilitation, as a Community Support, aims to support individuals in developing, maintaining, and enhancing self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills.
