ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION FOR COLUSA COUNTY RECOVERY

ARTICLE I: NAME
The name of this unincorporated grassroots association is Colusa County Recovery, established in January 2020.
ARTICLE II: PURPOSE
The purpose of this association is to provide community outreach, peer support, life skills resources, and housing navigation and referral assistance. The association facilitates local peer support groups at the Day Reporting Center (DRC) and Thryve Drop-In Center, promotes a healthy, alcohol-free lifestyle, and provides online resources through ColusaCountyRecovery.com and Clean and Sober Nation on YouTube.
ARTICLE III: MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL AUTHORITY
Susan M. Wagenaar serves as the association’s Managing Volunteer and has sole authority to make operational decisions, approve community service projects, apply for and accept grants, allocate organizational funds, establish and maintain financial accounts in the name of Colusa County Recovery, and act as the sole authorized signer on those accounts.
Organizational funds shall support the association’s purposes. Records of receipts and expenditures shall be maintained.

ONLINE DEMOGRAPHICS
Our online recovery community is a vibrant and diverse group, primarily made up of adults between 27 and 48 years old. Women make up a strong majority, representing 52% of our 30,000 member/subscribers, a number that continues to grow exponentially each month. Our recovery community spans 50 states with California representing the largest segment (47%). Our membership reflects an accurate cross-section of individuals embracing a recovery-centered lifestyle.
COLUSA COUNTY: LOCAL IMPACT
Our in-person, peer-based model, is built on something powerful: the raw strength of shared experience, the unshakeable hope that comes from people who truly get it, and the fire of empowering each other. Weekly we engage with and support over 40 community members in Colusa County.
