About: This is the newest major affordable housing development in Colusa County. The community includes 49 units (1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments) and serves working adults, families, and residents with special needs. The development accepts housing vouchers and is Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) complex that helps people exiting homelessness by referral. This complex enjoys positive feedback. Its ground are impressive and well-maintained.
Colusa Garden Apartments (Revitalized)
Status: Has undergone major revitalization and continues to undergo renovation

About: Colusa Garden Apartments is a long-standing subsidized affordable housing community in Colusa. The property offers 1 and 2 bedroom units and recently completed a major revitalization project and continues to undergo improvements.
This is USDA Section 515 Rural Housing that offers a subsidized rate of 30% to those who qualify. The complex also accepts Section 8 Choice Vouchers, but be prepared to pay 40% or more of your income, due to recent HUD program cuts. This is a tight-knit rental community that is pet friendly, and has many residents who have enjoyed living at Colusa Garden Apartments for 10 years or more. Well kept grounds and great on-site management make this a wonderful place to live. We highly recommend applying for tenancy and know over 20 people who live here.
