Mission and Vision
The Ministerial Association of Colusa County is an association of 21 churches and parishes, along with their ministers, that coordinates charitable endeavors, extends Christian benevolence, and advocates for affiliated ministries and mission partners throughout Colusa County.
โ
Our Vision is to love our neighbors as ourselves.
โ
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
โ
Our Mission is to fulfill our Vision by caring for our neighbors through charitable endeavors and benevolence; accompanying our confession of the gospel of Christ and in line with his command to love our neighbors as ourselves bringing Glory to Christ.
โ
"Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:13

The Power of Faith in Recovery
Faith-based recovery programs combine the principles of traditional addiction treatment with spiritual guidance and support. These programs often incorporate prayer, meditation, and scripture study into the recovery process. Participants are encouraged to develop a deeper connection with a higher power, which can provide comfort and strength during times of struggle.
โ
Local churches play a key role in providing support and guidance to individuals in recovery. Many churches offer faith-based recovery programs that are open to the community. These programs provide a safe and welcoming environment for people to come together and share their experiences.
One of the benefits of faith-based recovery is the sense of community that it provides. People in recovery often feel isolated and alone, but a faith-based program can offer a supportive network of individuals who share similar struggles. This community can be a powerful source of motivation and encouragement.
โ
If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, consider exploring faith-based recovery programs at your local church. With the power of faith and the support of a community, you can find the strength to overcome addiction and build a brighter future.
